Adult film star Ryan Orion can’t get over Patrick Schwarzenegger’s public reaction to his NSFW White Lotus parody.
“My mind was blown. I never would’ve guessed that he would’ve been talking about it in interviews,” Orion exclusively told Us Weekly. “Obviously, I knew that my boyfriend had told him about it at the gym. At the time, I just thought that it was cool that he just even knew about it at all.”
He continued: “He did have a really funny response. He was laughing, being really gracious about it, but then to see that he was talking about it on TV and in interviews, it was like my mind was blown.”
Orion was referring to Schwarzenegger’s viral June interview with W Magazine where he recalled learning about a porn spinoff of the White Lotus season 3. (Orion plays Schwarzenegger’s season 3 character, Saxon, in the adult film titled The Tight Lotus.)

“Last week, I was at the gym with two of my friends, and a guy walked up to me and said, ‘I love your work, and I had to come over to you because my boyfriend just booked playing Saxon Ratliff in The Tight Lotus,’” Schwarzenegger told the outlet. “I said, ‘What is that?’ And he said, ‘Tight Lotus — it’s a new porno coming out!’ And I said, ‘Excuse me?’ And he goes, ‘Yeah — he’s playing you.’ I was like, ‘Oh my God!’”
Orion explained that his boyfriend, Simon Curtis, is “very outgoing” and “not shy,” especially when it comes to “telling people when he’s a fan of something.”
“The day before I got the news that I had booked the role, he had seen Patrick at the gym that we all go to, and he introduced himself, told him that he was a fan,” he explained. “Then the next day, out of the blue, I booked the parody. So, Simon goes up to him because he sees him at the gym again the next day.”

Orion added that Schwarzenegger, 31, and his friends all got a good chuckle out of it.
“He was on the floor laughing, his jaw just dropped. He was there with some friends, and they were all laughing about it too,” he said. “Ever since then, anytime Simon sees him at the gym, Patrick will wave to him and kind of laugh and smile.”
After Schwarzenegger’s remarks went viral, Orion had people tagging him in posts about it, which caught him by surprise because he never expected the actor to bring up the encounter.
“It’s been just so funny the way that he’s responded to it, talking about it and having fun with it versus, I don’t know, having a really negative response,” he told Us. “You never know how people could be disrespected or they could feel offended, but he is like loving it.”
Orion gave Us a tease about what fans can expect from his version of Saxon in The Tight Lotus.
“So the scene that we shot for the Tight Lotus, it’s the full moon party scene when they’re on the boat. Saxon and Lochlan are with the two girls and so we basically shot for shot, recreated that interaction of them on the boat, partying and dancing,” he shared. “And then, there’s a moment where Saxon and Lochlan kiss in the White Lotus, and that happened in the Tight Lotus as well. That’s sort of the moment where things go in a different direction from the White Lotus.”
