Southern Charm star Venita Aspen is saying goodbye and good riddance to former costar Jarrett “JT” Thomas ahead of the Bravo show’s 11th season.
“Gone from Bravo and forever forgotten,” Venita, 31, captioned an Instagram Story post on Thursday, October 9.
The Bravo star also shared the Reality Report fan account’s post that had JT, 40, sporting angel wings alongside a message that read: “Rest in Peace, Kitty.”
Venita’s very pointed message came just after the Southern Charm season 11 trailer premiered on Thursday. Last season, Venita’s story line focused primarily on her friendship with JT and the possibility of it blossoming into something more.
A February episode of the show showed JT revealing to Venita that he had a girlfriend. Several episodes later, she went to JT’s room in the middle of the night during a cast trip to the Bahamas.
Venita clarified on social media following the episode that the Bahamas trip happened before she found out about JT’s girlfriend.
“Let me make something VERY CLEAR. That dinner JT and I had after I made a Branzino was AFTER the Bahamas y’all as an audience saw it BEFORE,” she wrote at the time “So this week’s episode is now making me look like I’m a home wrecker when I’m not. I know what I signed up for but I also will not allow the world to think I’m that woman when I’m not.”
She further discussed the drama with JT on an episode of the Southern Charm aftershow in March.
“I’m on a walk and I call JT and I say, ‘Hey, listen, I want you to come with me to this event as my date.’ He goes, ‘You know, I don’t think my girlfriend’s gonna like that.’ I literally throw my phone on my porch and slam my door,” Venita said , noting that she didn’t want to look like “a f***ing homewrecker” on the show.

One scene from season 10 showed the duo shopping together, and the aforementioned aftershow revealed that Venita had allegedly spent $5,000 on JT.
“Imagine having a girlfriend and then having your best friend spend $5,000 on you at Dumas,” she claimed. “And you get it tailored, same day turnaround. They don’t do that for anybody else.”
JT offered some clarification about the money situation at the time.
“I forgot my credit card in her car by accident, was hobbling with a cane a few days after a major ATV crash, and PaypPal’d her back in full after she insisted/we not hobble back to the car to get the card and hobble back,” he claimed.

JT announced via social media in November 2024 that he resigned from the show amid filming. With JT gone, it seems that Venita will be having drama with costar Salley Carson in the upcoming season, set to premiere next month.
Thursday’s trailer revealed Salley and newcomer Charley Manley will be involved in a love triangle with Craig Conover — which Venita is not on board with.
“I’m going to be very clear,” Venita said. “I don’t like Craig.”
Salley responded, “I don’t want to stop hanging out with Craig.”
Southern Charm season 11 premieres on Bravo Wednesday, November 19, at 9 p.m. ET. Episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
