One popular explanation is thebaby facelift. Starts at $3,500, this procedure allows celebrities to return to the red carpet quickly as it can be performed in-office and addresses specific areas like the neck or cheeks. It leaves less scarring, is less invasive than a regular facelift and has a shorter recover time.

Board-certified dermatologist Dr Sonia Badreshia told the Royale there’s been a ‘clear shift’ with celebrities dissolving old filler, explaining the ‘pillow face look is no longer in, as the trend is toward natural, lifted beauty that restores youthful contours rather than trying to mask aging with volume alone’.

The California-based dermatologist explained that many of these stars are embracing procedures like these customized facelift techniques, along with facial fat grafting and regenerative therapies to improve skin elasticity.

Board-certified plastic surgeon Dr Vivek Bansal of Elite MD revealed ‘there are several procedures flying under the radar that are making a big difference,’ specifically mentioning facial fat grafting with PRF or stem cells.

In the procedure, doctors uses thepatient’s own microfat and regenerative cells to restore volume and boost skin quality.

RealSelf expert Dr Badreshia told the Royale that facial fat transfers (which one doctor nicknamed a FaceBBL to help with Ozempic weight loss) help reverse aging without making it obvious what was done.

Dr Bansal explained it’s not just about facial fat grafting but also about the expensive recovery period that follows.

‘The truth is, they’re supported by teams and tools that most people don’t have,’ Dr Bansal admitted, which leads to faster results and an effortless recovery period. ‘They use hyperbaric oxygen therapy, LED light beds, lymphatic drainage, laser-assisted healing and even private nurses.’

Dr Amir Karam (pictured) believes these transformations could be because of fat transfers, which is a common procedure that's often performed in his practice for younger patients

Much of this work is undetectable. Celebrities suddenly look like their old selves, but fans can’t pinpoint what they’ve had done.

Dr Amir Karamagreed that these transformations could be because of fat transfers, which younger patients often request to restore lost volume.

The San Diego-based surgeon also has another trick up his sleeve.

Dr Karam has spent years perfecting theVertical Restoreprocedure, which uses fat transfer to correct sagging and involves skin resurfacing, eye treatments and oftentimes a lip lift, if needed. Many times, patients in their late 40s and 50s opt for this procedure.

And while dissolving fillers can change the shape of the face dramatically, it doesn’t reverse aging.

Dr Karam believes celebrity results ‘are most likely a combination of the removal of existing fillers, which over time pile on top of one another, leading to an older dysmorphic facial shape,’ along with these undetectable surgery procedures.
