Donald and Melania Trump were caught on camera engaging in a heated conversation aboard the Marine One helicopter on Wednesday night

When Donald and Melania Trumpwere caught on camera engaging in a heated conversation aboard the Marine One helicopter onWednesday night, it sparked immense rumors about their relationship.

Now, a body language expert has weighed in on the seemingly tense moment exclusive with the Royale.

The president, 79, was seen waving a finger at his wife, 55, who sat across from him and shook her head at him.

The interaction occurred as the couple was landing back in Washington, DC, fromthe United NationsGeneral Assembly in New York.

And while some have theorized that Trump pointing his finger at Melania might have been a clue to some tension in their marriage, body language expert Judi James analyzed the icy encounter, and she theorized that the two weren’t fighting at all.

Instead, she said it seemed likeDonald was ‘letting off steam’ about the escalator fiasco that occurred at the UN General Assembly.

In fact, Judi said the interaction might be a good sign for the couple, as it proves that in private, the two are able to have real conversations with one another.

‘This is an interesting glimpse of what might be the “behind-the-scenes” relationship of Donald and Melania and it is rather rewarding in terms of normality,’ she told the Royale.

‘The President’s passion for talking and Melania’s more static, elegant and silent style of body language in public could suggest all the verbal could be one-way in private but this glimpse shows them looking keenly chatty and animated with even some simultaneous communication going on.

‘It bears all the hallmarks of one of those “how was your day?” moments between all couples where one really does decide to off-load a little in the security of their own home.’

Trump certainly had a lot to unload, as hours earlier he had gone on a fierce rampage on Truth Social about his UN visit, accusing the UN of ‘sabotage’ and claiming a broken escalator nearly injured him and Melania.

‘Trump’s pointed finger could be seen as an emphatic gesture aimed at Melania but in the context of the rest of their body language here it suggests he’s joking as he possibly lets off steam about his latest appearance,’ Judi continued.

‘There is one point where he seems to use a rolling movement with his hands, he could actually be still incensed by the escalator fiasco here, miming tumbling down?’

According to Judi, their body language represents a relaxed and happy couple, likely bonding over a what they endured at the UN.

‘Melania’s hands are initially clasped on the table in a gesture of calm listening as Trump’s hand is raised in a curved shape to describe something with an illustrative ritual,’ she dished.

‘The hand looks expressive but relaxed here and he then clasps his hands loosely on the table.

‘There’s no sign of any tension in either clasp, which suggests he’s enjoying the conversation.

‘We can see Melania’s response to his story, she is actually smiling or even laughing and shaking her head in an amused-looking response that suggests he is joking about something.

‘She brings her right hand up in an echo gesture of his, which would normally signal agreement and her lips purse as she speaks.

‘Trump’s pointed finger could be a response to this, [saying], “You get it,” and adding to the story.

‘His thumb is cocked in the gesture which is normally a signal of positive emotions.

‘Trump is clearly keen to make his point here, but it looks like he might be doing so in a humorous way, with Melania providing what looks like a rather amused and calming presence.’

Videos show that an escalator that Donald and Melania were on at the UN on Tuesday had abruptly stopped, causing them to jolt forward.

Trump made a joke about it during his speech on Tuesday, telling the crowd, ‘If the First Lady wasn’t in great shape, she would’ve fallen.’

After the event, however, he took a different tune on the Truth Social app, claiming that the broken escalator could have left them gravely injured.

‘It’s amazing that Melania and I didn’t fall forward onto the sharp edges of these steel steps, face first,’ he scathed.

‘It was only that we were each holding the handrail tightly or, it would have been a disaster.’

Echoing White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, who had cited a report in the Sunday Times that said UN staff had joked about turning the escalators and elevators off to prank the president, Trump referred to the escalator incident as ‘absolutely sabotage.’

‘The people that did it should be arrested!’ Trump said.

In a statement Tuesday, UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric said that Trump’s videographer, who can be seen boarding the escalator several seconds before the first couple, likely triggered an emergency stop.

‘A subsequent investigation, including a readout of the machine’s central processing unit, indicated that the escalator had stopped after a built-in safety mechanism on the comb step was triggered at the top of the escalator,’ Dujarric said.

‘The safety mechanism is designed to prevent people or objects accidentally being caught and stuck in or pulled into the gearing.

‘The videographer may have inadvertently triggered the safety function described above.’

Trump also furiously lashed out at the audio quality for his speech in his post.

She said, 'It bears all the hallmarks of one of those "how was your day?" moments between all couples where one really does decide to off-load a little in the security of their own home'

‘I was told that the sound was completely off in the auditorium where the speech was made, that world leaders, unless they used the interpreters’ earpieces, couldn’t hear a thing,’ he continued.

‘The first person I saw at the conclusion of the speech was Melania, who was sitting right up front. I said, “How did I do?” And she said, “I couldn’t hear a word you said.”‘

A UN official told the Royale that the audio was set up that way by design.

‘The sound system was designed to allow people at their seats to hear speeches being translated into six different languages through earpieces. It has been like this for decades,’ the official said.

The president also spoke about the teleprompter not working, saying it went ‘stone cold dark’ as he went to address his fellow leaders.

‘I then proceeded to make a speech without a teleprompter, which kicked in about 15 minutes later,’ wrote Trump.

‘The good news is the speech has gotten fantastic reviews. Maybe they appreciated the fact that very few people could have done what I did.’

UN spokesperson Dujarric told the Royale Wednesday morning that the White House was operating Trump’s teleprompter at the time.

However, Trump said that all of this ‘wasn’t a coincidence, this was triple sabotage at the UN.’

He finished: ‘They ought to be ashamed of themselves. I’m sending a copy of this letter to the Secretary General, and I demand an immediate investigation.

‘No wonder the United Nations hasn’t been able to do the job that they were put in existence to do.

‘All security tapes at the escalator should be saved, especially the emergency stop button. The Secret Service is involved. Thank you for your attention to this matter!’
