Michelle Williams is a mom-to-be in her upcoming film A Place in Hell.
Williams, 44, was spotted with a fake baby bump on the set of the upcoming movie in New York on Tuesday, June 24. Photos showed the actress wearing a green short-sleeved maxi dress that hugged her faux belly, as well as purple sneakers and a large black purse. Williams also carried a purple jacket.
At one point, Williams was photographed getting out of a gold car and running away.
In other snaps from the set, Williams sported a more business-centric look, wearing a plum-colored suit and a white collared shirt over her prosthetic bump. She paired the ensemble with a white tote bag and black sunglasses.

A Place in Hell was announced in February, with Chloe Domont named as the director. Williams and Daisy Edgar-Jones star in the thriller film, which follows “two women at a high-profile criminal law firm,” according to Deadline. Danny Huston and Andrew Scott have also been cast in the project.
While Williams’ baby bump on set is fake, the movie comes less than one year after she secretly welcomed her third child with Thomas Kail (her fourth child overall).
People reported in April that Williams and Kail, 48, had welcomed baby No. 3 via surrogate six weeks prior to the family being spotted out in New York City together.

“They couldn’t be happier to expand their family, and Matilda has been doting on her younger siblings,” a source told the outlet at the time.
Williams first became a mom when she welcomed daughter Matilda in October 2005, whom she shared with late ex Heath Ledger. The pair dated from 2004 to 2007, calling it quits months before Ledger’s death from an accidental drug overdose at 28 years old in January 2008.
“[He was] so special, so special,” Williams said of Ledger on Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast in May. “Thank God there’s Matilda.”

Williams, who was briefly married to musician Phil Elverum from July 2018 to early 2019, met Kail while working on FX’s Fosse/Verdon in late 2018. Us Weekly confirmed in December 2019 that the pair had gotten engaged and were expecting their first child together.
Williams and Kail tied the knot in March 2020. They later welcomed son Hart that June.
Williams later revealed her pregnancy with her and Kail’s second child in 2022.
“It’s totally joyous,” she told Variety. “As the years go on, you sort of wonder what they might hold for you or not hold for you. It’s exciting to discover that something you want again and again, is available one more time. That good fortune is not lost on me or my family.”
