Meghan Marklemight be having some trouble when it comes to finding ‘where she really fits,’ according to experts – as she attempts to juggle her As Ever lifestyle venture, public speaking engagements and her aspirations in the fashion world.
Over the past month, Meghan has been seen out and about in both New York City and Paris Fashion Week, hobnobbing with the best of them as she made the rounds after the summer premiere of the second season of her Netflixshow, With Love, Meghan.
But could these appearances, as well as her recent fashion choices, signal a new chapter for Meghan? Perhaps one that’s in the world of high fashion?
The Duchess made her debut at Paris Fashion Week to attend the glamorous Balenciaga show alongside guests like Vogue editor Anna Wintour and actress Anne Hathaway, but it was later revealed that she texted creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli to ask for an invite.
Speaking with New York Magazine’s The Cut, Piccioli did say it was a ‘beautiful surprise’ and had helped keep her Paris visit to his show secret.
When asked about Meghan’s trip – and her two outfits – he said: ‘Meghan and I met some years ago, and we’ve been texting ever since. She reached out and said she’d love to come to the show.’
He added: ‘There was no strategy or big orchestration.’
Meghan’s decision to take a 10,000-mile round trip to Paris Fashion Week came straight out of the blue, Piccioli confirmed, and he helped her keep it secret.

Last Thursday, Meghan and husband Prince Harry made an appearance at the glitzy Project Healthy Minds Gala in New York City to accept the ‘Humanitarians of the Year’ award
The Duchess was seen at the Spring 2026 ready-to-wear draped in a stylish white oversized cape over a white button-down shirt and matching trousers, all designed by Balenciaga, of course.
She paired it with black pointed-toe heels and simple accessories, giving off a vibe of effortless elegance, topped off with a sleek, slicked-back bun.
Meghan was also snapped leaving her hotel to go the show, with crowds gathering outside in a bid to catch a glimpse of the royal – and once there, she schmoozed with Australian film director Baz Luhrmann and sat in the front row.
But that wasn’t the end to her recent glitzy appearances, as she’s been seen draped in a number of different high-end designers following her Paris Fashion Week debut.

In a total opposite move from the flowing, silky look that she wore to last week’s Balenciagashow in Paris, Meghan this time opted for a$3,495 plunging black silk blazer and matching$1,695 palazzo-style trousers by designerGiorgio Armani.
She paired the look with black heels and a $600 chunky, gold chain necklace by Anine Bing.
Meghan was also seen around town during her New York City visit sporting a long jacket by Max Mara, and a blue-and-white-striped button down by Ralph Lauren, one of her favorites.

And, according to experts, Meghan’s positioning is quite ‘disjointed’ right now, as her exactly path is not exactly clear
This week, during a Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit at Salamander Hotel in Washington DC, where she compared her Netflix deal to the Obama’s, she rocked a white leather skirt by Brochu Walker and a blouse by Gabriela Hearst.
It all comes asshe quietly shut downher ShopMy account, where she linked her expensive clothing items for commission, even going so far as to share her exact nail polish color with her followers.
And, according to experts, Meghan’s positioning is quite ‘disjointed’ right now, as her path for publicity is not exactly clear.
‘I don’t believe Meghan’s aiming to become a traditional fashion ambassador,’ Natalie Trice, publicity expert and coach, told Royale exclusively.
‘I think there are many moving parts to this and what she’s trying to do is rebuild her credibility in the lifestyle and influence space and maybe sees using fashion as a strategic platform to communicate values,’ Trice explained, as she compared Meghan to Victoria Beckham.
Though, Trice shared that she does not see Meghan becoming the ‘face’ of any fashion label right now.
In June 2023, rumors swirled that Meghan was being tapped as the new face of Dior as a brand ambassador – but the designer swiftly deniedthat any such thing was happening.
‘Meghan’s value and overall positioning is somewhat disjointed at the moment and where she really fits between fashion weeks and jam making is hard to tell,’ Trice said of any future luxury brand deals.

‘She would have worn Balenciaga if she were serious about striking a deal to be their ambassador,’ Labunski told Royale exclusively
‘A brand like Dior or Armani want to be seen by global figures who embody substance and sophistication, so while she can check into red-carpet glamour in demand, the more Gap mom is also out there,’ she explained.
‘You can, of course be both, but as I have said before, consistency and a golden thread have to be seen to get the real buy-in.’
But according to Baruch Labunski, founder at SEO marketing agency Rank Secure, her outfit choice for the New York City gala indicated that she was open for a fashion brand deal.
‘She would have worn Balenciaga if she were serious about striking a deal to be their ambassador,’ Labunski told Royale exclusively.
‘Wearing Armani said something else. It was a statement piece that indicated she is available for iconic endorsements and deals,’ he shared.
Of course, this isn’t the first time that Meghan has attended fashion week – but it’s the first time she’s gone since marrying Prince Harry.
She was previously a regular at New York and Toronto Fashion Weeks while working as an actress on US drama series, Suits.
Later, The Duchess also shared an Instagram reel that showed the highlights of her getting ready for the glamorous show.
She let fans into her time sightseeing around the city, enjoying an egg-white omlette from her hotel, and using language app Duolingo to learn the language, showing off an 100 day streak.
Other clips included Meghan getting her hair and makeup done, eating some French fries, and making her glamorous exit from the hotel.
In the caption of her reel, she thanked Balenciaga and creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli.
‘I’ve missed you France – thanks for the love,’ she shared.
