Gia Giudice has experienced her fair share of Bravo drama over the years — she even had a starring role on a show on the network.
Gia made her Bravo debut alongside parents Teresa and Joe Giudice when The Real Housewives of New Jersey premiered in May 2009. Fans watched as she grew up on screen before getting her gig on Next Gen NYC.
As a longtime Bravo personality, Gia is no stranger to rumors. But she still took to social media in June 2025 and addressed speculation that she had been fired from the network.
“I feel like I need to low-key address this, but not really because it’s so dumb,” she said in a TikTok video at the time. “But no, I’m not fired from Bravo, and that Rutgers scandal is just not true. That never happened.”

Gia was addressing online speculation regarding an alleged plagiarism scandal during her time at Rutgers.
“I also graduated two years ago, and this story came out like two weeks ago,” she continued. “So, you know the math is not just mathing. People are just bored. They have nothing better to do, or say, or post.”

The ‘RHONJ’ of It All
Jackie Goldschneider dragged Gia into a RHONJ fight with an analogy during a 2021 episode of the show. After Teresa claimed that she heard a rumor about Jackie’s husband, Evan Goldschneider. Jackie tried to get Teresa to understand how that could be damaging by comparing it to sharing an untrue rumor that Gia “does coke in the bathroom” at parties.
“I wasn’t starting a rumor about Gia. I was giving an analogy,” Jackie told Us Weekly at the time. “I think that like almost everyone will say that that’s an analogy and the truth is that there’s no one else in Teresa’s life that I can make her understand. When you say something about someone you love, whether or not it’s true, it hurts, you know? So, I don’t regret that because if I was saying something nasty about Gia, then I would regret it. But I was giving an analogy, which it was pretty clear to almost everyone.”

Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice’s eldest daughter, Gia Giudice, has grown up before Bravo fans’ eyes. Gia was 8 years old when Real Housewives of New Jersey, which also featured her sisters Gabriella (born 2004) and Milania (2005), filmed season 1. At the first reunion, fans learned Teresa was pregnant with her fourth baby girl. […]
The Family Drama
As Gia got older onscreen, she started to weigh in on the family feud between her mom, Teresa, and uncle Joe Gorga. A 2022 episode of RHONJ showed Gia and Joe facing off in an argument after she accused her uncle of “being disrespectful” about her father.
“I kind of just stayed calm, because if I reacted, it wouldn’t have done much,” Gia said during a February 2022 appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “I was a little surprised by the way he reacted toward me and how defensive he was, because bottom line, he is [talking about] my father. So have a little respect.”
Issues With Bethenny Frankel
Gia also had words on social media with former Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny in April 2025.
At the time, Bethenny weighed in on reports that Gia’s mom Teresa and now-husband Luis “Louie” Ruelas received more than $3 million in tax liens. (While Teresa and Louie didn’t publicly address the money drama, Gia did.)
“I cannot believe that Teresa is in another marriage with financial, legal issues,” Bethenny said on social media at the time, referring to Teresa and Joe Giudice’s marriage. “I’ll have to pull when I tweeted ‘If Teresa Giudice does not sign a prenup I will jump through my phone.’”
Gia took to her “Casual Chaos” podcast with a response.
“Bethany Frankel, thank you so much for your sweet video. You are a mother with a daughter. I bet you wouldn’t like [it] if somebody was saying this about you,” she said. “I hope that $1,000 TikTok paycheck was really worth it. And thanks. But we’re doing perfectly fine over here.”
Riley Burruss Drama
The Next Gen NYC stars had a small rift after Gia compared RHONJ to The Real Housewives of Atlanta. (Gia’s mom, Teresa is on RHONJ, and Riley’s mom, Kandi Burruss, used to appear on RHOA.)
“I didn’t think it was that deep,” Gia told Us Weekly exclusively in May 2025. “I don’t know how to please her, I guess.”
Gia added that she “wasn’t trying to say anything offensive at all” by comparing the franchises. “I really was just like, our moms are on reality TV. They’re both on Bravo. I don’t know, she didn’t really like it, I guess.”
Andy Cohen Feud Rumors
After Gia addressed firing rumors, Andy entered the chat.

“I am not a producer of Next Gen NYC. This is the first I am hearing of any discord surrounding Gia,” he said on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live in June 2025. “And I certainly only have positive feelings for Gia and her mom, Teresa, the OG of New Jersey.”
Andy shut down speculation regarding “inappropriate behavior” between Gia and her Next Gen NYC costars.
“No, nothing that I’ve ever heard of,” he said. “All news to me, and by the way, I love Next Gen NYC. Do not sleep on this show.”
