Celebrities – they’re just like us!

Gwyneth Paltrowhas stunned followers after revealing that despite her opulent lifestyle, not only does she eats leftovers, but is also a fan of making a rejuvenated dish from last night’s dinner.

While her leftover food may be a level or two above what the average person pulls out of their fridge, the enthusiastic cook showed off her culinary skills in a short clip posted to Instagram.

‘Leftovers, elevated. Homemade duck confit with potato hash and eggs for this morning’s #boyfriendbreakfast,’ the 52-year-old actress captioned a video showing her making the meal.

The Goop Founder started with leftover roasted potatoes, also pulling out some seasoned duck from the fridge before removing the skin and pan frying it.

She then chopped up some onions – even finding a few rotten ones – and sautéed in a pan on the stove.

Paltrow then went to her garden, picking up a pepper and chopping it lengthwise to add to the onions.

After taking the sautéed vegetables off the pan, she heated the baby roasted potatoes while mashing.

To serve, Paltrow poached two eggs, adding them on top of the potato and duck dish, before pouring herself a cup of coffee.

Last week, Paltrow was slammed for ‘butchering’ a traditional Japanese dish.

The home chef shared a clip to Instagram as she cooked in her expansive kitchen as a part of her ‘boyfriend breakfast’ series, making Okonomiyaki – a Japanese-style veggie pancake.

Paltrow showed herself preparing the intricate dish but critics were quick to point out that she did not technically make the cultural meal correctly since it was not crispy enough and used multiple flours.

Over the summer, Paltrow sparked a heated response after sharing a video whipping up an intricate, gourmet breakfast for husband Brad Falchuk as it was her disposal of the egg whites that infuriated her followers.

In the Instagram post, the actress made a lobster benedict for her husband of seven years, and was seen cracking eggs into a strainer before then appearing to tip the whites directly onto the floor and nonchalantly carrying on with poaching.

Fans were shocked by the star’s apparent mess making – taking to the comment section to share their thoughts.

The Goop founder has been married to Fulchuk, a television writer known for co-creating massive hits like Glee and American Horror Story, since 2018.

The couple do not share any children together but are stepparents to each other’s kids. Brad is stepfather to two kids Paltrow shares with her ex-husband Chris Martin — daughter Apple and son Moses.

The actress is also stepmother to Isabella and Brody, whom Brad shares with his ex-wife Suzanne Bukinik.
