Jodie Fosterappeared more youthful than ever as she attended at the Toronto International Film Festival last week – and plastic surgeons are weighing in on the secrets behind her age-defying looks.
The actress, 62, made multiple appearances at the festival, but looked like she had turned back time as she stood on stage Sunday to accept the Share Her Journey Groundbreaker Award.
Foster’s skin glowed on stage, as her forehead appeared wrinkle-free. She wore light makeup, highlighting her natural beauty, with just a touch of shiny pink lip gloss.
The Silence of the Lambs star paired her natural look with silky blank suit pants, and a sheer black long sleeve blouse complete with a pussy bow.
She brought it all together with a pair of pointy black pumps and had her short brown bob in a slick-back style ‘do.
Now, plastic surgeons are sharing exclusively with Royale about the possible procedures that Foster could have had done – and according to them, after reviewing footage, it’s actually not much, if anything.
‘It doesn’t seem like Jodie Foster has done much, and it’s very hard to tell if she’s had any work done at all,’ Dr. David Pincus of New York’s Pincus Plastic Surgery told Royale exclusively.
However, Dr. Pincus, who has not treated Foster, did notice a difference in her cheeks.

‘At the Toronto Film Festival, her cheeks did appear a bit more full compared to the past,’ the plastic surgeon said.
‘That kind of change can sometimes be the result of cheek filler, which is a subtle enhancement that restores lost volume,’ he continued.
Dr. Pincus explained to Royale that as people age, they ‘naturally lose volume’ in the midface area.
Because of this, it can cause the cheek area to look ‘flatter’ and ‘less contoured’ – even having the effect of making you look tired.
‘Cheek filler is designed to replace that lost volume, add contour, and create a more youthful and balanced appearance,’ Dr. Pincus said.
‘What’s important is that, if done conservatively, it doesn’t change the overall character of the face, it simply restores what has diminished over time,’ he added.
Beverly Hills-based plastic surgeonDr. John Diaztold Royale that if Foster had anything done, it was not something under-the-knife.
‘I do not see any evidence of facial surgery,’ Dr. Diaz told Royale exclusively.

‘Her eyebrows are not elevated, her midface looks unchanged from previous older photographs,’ he explained.
‘Her lower face and neck have lines, wrinkles, loose skin which suggests she has not had surgery.’
Royale reached out to Foster’s reps for comment.
But while Foster may not have had plastic surgery, she does take care of her skin.
In February, her makeup artist,Brett Freedman, revealed to Town & Countrythat the star is a big fan of Farm House Fresh’s perfectly perfect Three Milk Moisturizer, which retails for just $38.
Not only does it contain cucumber extract and botanical milks, but also a ‘clinical age-reversing peptide.’
She also uses Medik8’s products, according to InStyle. Their ingredients include retinal and liquid peptides, which are both anti-aging.
In the past, Foster has been quite open about her lack of cosmetic procedures.
In a 2024 profile of Foster in The Atlantic, the author wrote that the actress ‘has refused all forms of plastic surgery or other cosmetic alteration.’
She told the outlet that she would rather have people say, ‘Man, she looks like 20 miles of bad road,’ instead of, ‘she hated her face, so she got plastic surgery.’
In 2007, the Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore star also opened up to Peopleabout her stance on plastic surgery.
‘It’s not my thing. I don’t have anything against it for other people,’ she explained to the outlet at the time.
‘Whatever they want to do, I’m fine with it. For me, it’s really a self-image thing. Like, I’d rather have somebody go, “Wow, that girl has a bad nose” than “Wow, that girl has a bad nose job,”‘ she explained.
‘I’d rather have a comment about who I am than about something that identifies me as being ashamed of who I am.’
