Morgan Pope is the next Big Brother 27 player experiencing the wrath of the one and only Rachel Reilly.
“You know how I feel about you,” Morgan tells Rachel in a storage room pow-wow in Us Weekly’s exclusive first look at the Wednesday, August 13, episode. “Your game is very close to my game. I’m trying to get people out. I could potentially think that you being in here is a problem, [and] me being in here is a problem.”
In a diary room confessional, Morgan explains that she wanted to “reconnect” with Rachel after they were at odds over Jimmy Heagerty’s eviction the previous week.
“I want to continue to work with her moving forward,” she says. “We haven’t really talked since Jimmy’s eviction and I know she was really hurt by that so I’m just trying to see where we stand.”

Big Brother 27‘s Jimmy Heagerty credited former ally Morgan Pope for his eviction rather than Head of Household Mickey Lee. “I know [Morgan] was working behind the scenes to send me home. I know she was whipping votes to get me out of the house. We barely had conversations about it,” Jimmy, 25, exclusively told […]
When the clip cuts back to Rachel and Morgan’s conversation, and the former winner shares that “there are way bigger problems” in the house. Morgan agrees with Rachel, but she doesn’t know if other players are thinking at that same level. One of Morgan’s realizations was the lack of targeting the newfound showmance between Rylie Jeffries and Katherine Woodman.
“I’ve heard from around the house that some people are afraid to break up the showmance,” Morgan confesses. “I mean you know how it is being in a showmance, people are scared of that.”
Rachel met her now husband, Brendon Villegas, during Big Brother season 12. While they were falling in love, the house targeted them every week until they successfully were evicted. (Rachel and Brendon returned for season 13 where he made it to the jury and voted for Rachel to take home the cash prize.)
Rachel reminds Morgan that she and Brendon “were on the block every week because we were a showmance.”
“But that’s not what is happening here. I’m not saying it should or not, I’m indifferent about that,” she says. “I just know that I’m aligned with you and I want you in jury.”
After hearing Morgan share her plans for Rachel’s game, Rachel made it clear their goals are not aligned.

“Morgan, you know that I’m not going to jury,” Rachel quips. “I will be in this house until final three. If you guys think I’m going to jury. I am not going to that jury house.”
Morgan begins to backtrack her remarks stating she meant that she wants Rachel to reach that game “checkpoint.” However, Rachel is not buying it.
“Sure. But that is literally what everyone keeps telling me and I am so tired of it,” she fires back. “You can underestimate me all you want. I have won this game, I have played twice. You newbies think that you can tell me what to do. I’ve heard better, I’ve played with better.”
Morgan doubles down, sharing that she’s trying to take Rachel as far as she “possibly can” in the game. When Rachel calls Morgan out on saying that she said she wanted her in the jury, Morgan reiterates she meant it as a “check point.”
“That’s not a checkpoint, Morgan. We’re playing Big Brother,” she says. “If you guys think you’re keeping me to jury, to sit in a jury house, you’re crazy. Your whole group is crazy because I will not be there. I will be in this house sitting in that final two chair. So if you guys want to f*** with me go ahead. I am tired of the disrespect. I am tired of you not putting a f***ing crown on my name.”
Morgan attempts to interject that she has given Rachel her flowers for her past seasons but Rachel is not having it.
“Everyone that says they want to take me to jury, they have another thing coming,” she declares. “Like, the fire has not even come out. So you can tell your friends that.”

Morgan apologizes to Rachel and says she didn’t mean to offend her. However, in the diary room, Morgan hints that this spat with Rachel has changed their dynamic.
“Are you talking to me? Rachel misunderstood what I was saying. I’m not trying to get her out any time soon but now I am,” Morgan quips.

Rachel, for her part, is on the same page as Morgan as she now sees her as a foe rather than an ally.
“I am so tired of people disrespecting my game,” Rachel says in the diary room. “Look if Morgan doesn’t respect me and wants to send me to jury, maybe it’s Morgan’s time to go. And she might have just provided me with the perfect piece of information to help make that happen.”
Big Brother airs on CBS on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 8 p.m. ET. Fans can watch live feeds from the house anytime on Paramount+.
